CHANGE MANAGEMENT COURSES

Our change management courses recognise that taking a team through organisational change requires a different skill set to managing in a steady state.  Not least as the leaders themselves will find their personal resilience and energy put to the test as they attempt to implement change while at the same time maintain critical operational activities ranging from quality and reliability to customer service.

Research tells us that something like 90% of organisation change projects fail to achieve all their objectives.  Often success comes down to our ability to help our people to deal with uncertainty and adapt to new systems, processes and above all change behaviours.

Our change management courses will help your managers develop the core skills needed to successfully manage change. At the same time building their own resilience and confidence to implement the changes ahead.

Leading Through Change Course Overview

While changes to systems, processes and technology may be daunting, it is the people side of change that is often the most difficult to implement – not least as you will often be dealing with emotional responses. Those can range from excitement and anticipation to threat and fear – even within the same team! The majority of our change management courses will focus on the critical people phase, and how to successfully embed the new way of working into the organisation’s DNA.

Our change management course starts by exploring change readiness and the critical role of trust in successful transition to new ways of working. We look at the key pillars of trust and how leaders need to behave both individually and collectively to ensure employee support.

We’ll explore a number of change models to look at how organisations and individuals navigate the change journey. Building understanding of critical phases and enabling delegates to anticipate how their people are likely to react. To end our change management course we look at the eight most common barriers to organisational change and how these can be anticipated and overcome.
